Bernard Historical Museum

Bernard Historical Museum
Located in Delton, the museum includes the Bernard Hospital, a Nature Trail, the Brown School, the Country Store, the Seamstress Cottage, the Little House, the Blacksmith Shop, the Implement Building, a Windmill, and Herb & Flower Gardens. Bowens Mills

Bowens Mills
Located in the heart of beautiful Yankee Springs Township, just 2 miles north of Yankee Springs (Gun Lake) State Park. Historic Bowens Mills is a 13 acre Pioneer Park consisting of an 1864 Grist Mill and Cider Mill. It is a working museum that still grinds and sells fresh corn meal through the use of water-powered mill stones. It is a second generation family-owned and operated state historic site with no state funding. 269-795-7530.

The Charlton Park Village Museum is located at 2545 South Charlton Park Road. The museum was established in 1936. The park includes 17 historic buildings, and is home to many educational programs and special events. 269-945-3775.



Gilmore Car Museum

Gilmore Car Museum
The Gilmore Car Museum is located at 6865 Hickory Road, three miles west of Hickory Corners. The Gilmore-Classic Car Club of America Museum has over 130 antique, classic and collector cars on display in six historic Michigan Barns. The museum, named one of the nation's 10 best large automobile museums, features unusual vintage vehicles, recent rare collectibles, hood ornament collections and automobile history exhibits. Located near Hickory Corners, the Museum sponsors annual car shows and swap meets. 269-671-5089.

Chief Noonday Chapter of the North Country Trail Association
The North Country Trail Association is a grassroots organization building a 4,600 mile long hiking trail from New York to North Dakota. The Chief Noonday Chapter sponsors an approximately 120 mile section just southeast of Grand Rapids, thru the Middleville State Game Area, the Paul Henry-Thornapple Trail, the Yankee Springs Recreation Area, the Barry State Game Area, the north east corner of Kalamazoo County, the Kellogg Experimental Forest and Kellogg Biological Station, Ft. Custer National Cemetery, through Battle Creek, Marshall, and Homer in south central Michigan. 269-945-5398.



Michigan Farmers' Hall of Fame

Michigan Farmers' Hall of Fame
The Michigan Farmers' Hall of Fame is located on the 80 acre farm owned by Bill and Maggie Aukerman at 7990 Milo Road, 3 miles south of Delton. They host many events throughout the summer, including the "Prairieville Old Fashioned Farm Days and Country Music Shows", held every year over the Labor Day weekend. 269-623-2485.

Kellogg Farm

W.K. Kellogg Biological Station
Michigan State University's W.K. Kellogg Biological Station (KBS) is located in southwestern lower Michigan on the eastern shore of Gull Lake, 12 miles northwest of Battle Creek and 15 miles northeast of Kalamazoo. A 4,065-acre site, KBS is jointly managed by the MSU College of Agriculture and Natural Resources and the College of Natural Science. 269-671-5117.
